About the International Jelly & Preserve Association

The International Jelly & Preserve Association represents manufacturers of jams, preserves, jellies and non-standardized fruit spreads and suppliers to this industry. The organization operates as the Fruit Spread Section under the umbrella of the Juice Products Association (JPA), which represents the juice and juice products industry in the U.S. and overseas.

The International Jelly & Preserve Association was organized in 1898 as the National Preservers Association. Its purpose is to establish and keep current standards of excellence of product and service for the preserve industry and to promote and protect the interests of both consumers and manufacturers of industry products. Section members produce the majority of jams, jellies, preserves and fruit spreads annually in the United States.
